Before I begin this diatribe,
Let me make this clear,
I'm as guilty as all of you,
Let me make that clear.
But the spamming of this board,
Has drawn us away,
From our guiding Code of Ethics,
That 'til now's held sway.                                                    

We've broken the first of these,
Never start an arguement,
We've been guilty of doing this,
It's something I resent.
With the taunting of the spammers,
And giving them attention,
They are getting what they want,
A misguided sort of affection.
Fight foul langauge is number three,
On the ethics code,
I've seen many transgression here,
On the Unwashed abode.
Don't be drawn into a fight,
Is at number four,
This one we should heed more readily,
This I do implore.
For we're too ready to complain,
And get it off our chest,
But that encourages them back to us,
Ignore them - it's a test.
If you ignore these regular spammers,
You withdraw why they came,
Ignore them and let the post be deleted,
We'll soon forget their name.                                                    

I'm not making up anything new,
It's all there on Lerk's site,
Read those ethics once again,
Your conscience they will bite.
The last point I want to make,
And I'll make it fast,
Remember why you joined us,
Is the point that's last.
To stop inconsiderate people,
And verbal terrorists,
Who spoil and disrespect others,
It's something that we've missed.                                                    

Ignore the posts of the spammers,
The post will be deleted,
They'll get tired, and not encouraged,
Our mission will be completed.
