Have you ever considered what,
The Unwashed are really like,
From the oldest, wrinkly member to,
The smallest little tyke?
I was considering this question,
On my way to school,
So permit me to indulge myself,
Or perhaps to play the fool.
Buffy reminds me of Alanis Morisette,
Full of energy and emotion,
But without the painful anger,
And a propensity for commotion.
Doom reminds me of the new Madonna,
As she is never out of style,
She always has time to stay and chat,
For a little or long while.
But Doom is the clean Madonna,
Inventive and yet stable,
I can't imagine that you'll see Doom,
In a book on your coffee table.
Lerk reminds me of Paul Macartney,
His work has touched many,
He is also an icon to the masses,
A better person - you won't find any.
Night Owl reminds me of Jim Carrey,
If he decided to sing,
Full of a silly and contagious humour,
That seems to be his thing.
Wraith reminds me of Billy Idol,
They both have had their pain,
They both have had to take some drugs,
Albeit not the same.
ShadowDancer reminds me of Prince,
Now don't you start to shout,
There is a logic to this notion,
So, just you hear me out.
Like Prince he is obviously talented,
In many diverse ways,
He has the gift of conveying emotions,
To enrich all our days.
I remind myself of one of those guys,
From the band ZZ Top,
Some of life's little niceities,
I don't know when to stop.
I share their love of custom cars,
And they make me laugh,
Plus they could be in the Unwashed,
They look like they need a bath!
If I've annoyed anyone, please accept my apology,
aggrivation was not my intention.
If you've considered yourself a rock star,
post below and I'll see what I can do.
Cheers from the Land of Oz
