The season to be silly
And your health neglect
Or simply take the time
To sit back and reflect
On the year that has passed by
On the year yet to come
On achievements that were made
On tasks not yet begun
A time for air conditioned comfort
Depending on your clime
or to be out of doors
And by the pool or surf recline
A time when life surrounds you
And permeates your soul
Dismissing the lethargic apathy
That is the winter's toll
But still we must work
And when realities intrude
A glance at the window is all it takes
To feel once more renewed.
