Unforgiving and all-encompassing
Lives are thrown into it and collated for the grand scheme
Like a performer pushed in front of his crowd,
A little uneasy but all too comfortable
The street will take you to where you want to go.
It is the pathway to your every desire,
You need only state your payment.
Flying high and looking low,
One will inevitably find The Street,
Filled to capacity with souls-searching
And finding….in one way or another.
