Shield of Reflection
Crouched in night gloom
beneath tower shield
By will of my General
I can ne'er yield
Yet prevail I cannot
ground under by cries
Memories of life,
a country maid's thighs
Face down, mud-shrouded
This corpse bitten by flies.
